From CFP® to Everimagine Financial Planning
The journey of becoming a CFP® and eventually creating Everimagine Financial Planning took many years. It began with Elisa Ordona leaving her paid job in 2011, enrolling and eventually completing the UC Santa Cruz Extension’s Personal Financial Planning Program, while homeschooling for four years her teenage son through high school. Along the way, she passed the CFP® exam and completed her 4,000 hrs. financial planning experience requirement as an independent Financial Advisor with a small RIA to receive her CFP® certification in January 2017. What led her to this journey? Read the origins story The First Hint and Choosing to Become a CFP®.
Over the next couple years, Elisa came to realize starting her own firm would allow her to reach those, especially women, concerned about not only securing their financial future, but also positively impacting their families and the broader community, to provide purposeful financial clarity about their future through the financial life planning process, and if applicable, Sustainable Responsible investing. Through this work, she hoped to serve her long-term goal of enhancing and hopefully amplifying positive impact on the larger community to help improve our society and the world. With this awareness, it took another year to bring the firm to fruition and to start providing their services and hopefully make a positive difference in people’s lives and the world we live in.
